Throughout the 1st quarter, 4th grade students will apply their understanding of place value to 1,000,000, understanding the relative sizes of numbers in each place. They will also utilize their understanding of multiplication and division (equal-sized groups, arrays, and area models) to compute products of multi-digit whole numbers and quotients involving multi-digit dividends including interpreting remainders. Problem solving will also be an area of focus throughout the year. Please feel free to utilize the websites below for further review and practice. Enjoy!

In order to bridge the school and home connection, we have also created math tutorials. The links below will provide video tutorials straight from our classroom. The videos will feature teacher introductory lessons and student examples for your entertainment! The tutorials will be created depending on student and parent need. For example, 2 tutorials were posted featuring long division. Your child can watch this at home and you can actually see lessons being taught. We certainly welcome any feedback you have after viewing these tutorials!
